Product in one paragraph
ForgeLens is a modular, AWS-native digital twin platform: BIM ingest (or as-built from field capture),
360°/drone reality capture, querying, 3D viewing, and AI-assisted verification with human-in-the-loop.
Product scope lives in the private repo’s docs/SPEC.md; how we build is
deliberately thinner than the original SOW shopping list.
Living design (portfolio philosophy)
- Useful before complete — vertical slices, not platform day one
- Simple — monorepo not mandatory; one product repo until split is forced
- Control vs data plane — large BIM/media on S3 + presigned URLs
- Fences first — private buckets, API keys then Cognito, no secrets in git
- Park with criteria — drones, UWB, OpenSearch when a slice needs them
